Right above the park there is Villa Ravino, which gives the opportunity to stay inside a botanical garden.

WALKING AMONG THE CACTUS

The Ravino botanical park stands on 6,000 square meters and is home to the largest European collection of succulent plants, set up by the Captain, who every time he returned from his sea voyages brought new plants with him. And even today, every year, the collection is enriched with new specimens.

The dominant species in the Ravino gardens is certainly the cactus, there are them of all shapes and with all different flowers. Then there are palm trees, grusons, aloes, prickly pears, and much more.
On the grusoni terrace there is the Cactus Café where you can taste the cactus cocktail based on cactus fruits and seeds, while in a cistern there is the Moby Dick room which always hosts some exhibition or conference.

In 2010, the Ravino gardens were awarded the best tourist facility in southern Italy.
