The project, called Campania Smart, involves the creation of seven pocket guides, a website that serves as an interactive portal and an application for mobile devices (smartphones and tablets). The various products will allow users to search and discover the most important places of historical, cultural, artistic and naturalistic interest, with textual, photographic and video descriptions and in-depth analyzes with multimedia contents. Everything is bilingual (Italian and English).

The strengths of this type of tourist guide compared to the classic one are multimedia, pocket size and the possibility of accessing multimedia contents and extended information and special contents. In this context, the use of a personalized organization system between the app and the site will be central for the user, as well as accessing special content thanks to QR-code technology. Campania SMART intends to create a virtuous circle, between tradition and innovation, and bring a wider audience closer to the beauties of the regional territory.

The wide range of tools (paper guide / site / app) made available to the user will allow us to offer a varied and interconnected service, as well as easily accessible; through the Campania Smart project, specific contents will be produced to support tourist flows in lesser-known Campania areas, and not yet well indexed by search engines.
