Winter and summer in Laceno

At the base of the monte Cervialto (Cervialto Mount), in Bagnoli Irpino, there is Laceno, a small town surrounded by nature by the Laceno lake: the perfect destination for your holidays, both in summer and winter.

To reach Laceno from Avellino just drive along the Ofantina state road, take the exit signposted Montella and proceed towards Bagnoli Irpino. Then, drive along the SP368 provincial road and you will reach Laceno in 15 minutes.

LACENO IN WINTER

In winter, Laceno lake is covered in snow and the lake freezes, becoming really evocative.

On the Laceno plateau there is the ski resort where people can rent ski and snowboard equipment to enjoy a day on the Rajamagra mount tracks, that unfortunately are temporary closed, and so is the ski lift.

LACENO IN SUMMER

In summer, Laceno is the perfect place to escape hot days, having a picnic by the lake, or trekking. In fact, the Laceno lake area offers several paths you can enjoy; you can book one of the tours organized by Il Duomo Trekking, such as the winter snowshoes walking and the summer holly circuit.

There is also the Lacenolandia adventure park that is open from June to September. This park suits everyone and offers ropes courses, trampolines, and many attractions, such as the Ferris wheel and the Discovery, the kids area, rickshaw lake tours, rubber boats lake tours, water features and much more.

SMARTIP

Before leaving, have some food at the Il Fauno restaurant, that offers traditional local food, such as local truffles and mushrooms not that expensive.
