The easiest way to reach the parco del Taburno-Camposauro is to get first to one of the surrounding villages, such as Solopaca and Vitulano, the closest ones.
Alternatively, you can also get to the park from one of the two southern villages, Montesarchio and Sant’Agata de’ Goti, so as to visit these two beautiful mountain hamlets before getting to the park.
The Tasso del Taburno picnic area is a true restaurant in the middle of nature, with outdoor picnic tables, barbecues, toilets, and a restaurant where you can have meat and pizza…under the sky! The picnic area ticket is just € 5,00.
