The area included in the Sele-Tanagro river natural reserve is rich in poplar, willow and reed woods, as well as hosting the huge pine forest on the coastal side, where sea lilies are present.
A guest of the Sele river is the otter, symbol of the Persano Oasis which is part of the reserve.

For the more adventurous, fun rafting sessions are organised on the Tanagro River.
