The collection of the archaeological museum of Salerno is divided into the garden in front of the entrance, the ground floor and the first floor.
In the garden there are stone finds from the city of Salerno; on the ground floor there is the exhibition dedicated to the prehistory of Salerno and the province, while on the first floor there are finds from the Roman era, including the highlight: the bronze head of Apollo found in the waters of Salerno.
