Visit Massa Lubrense: what to do and to see

Visit Massa Lubrense is only 5 km away from Sorrento. It is a great place to stay and visit the Sorrento Peninsula, discovering some of the most beautiful beaches and bays.
From the Napoli train station take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento, and from here take the SITA bus toward Massa Lubrense.
In Largo Vescovado, the core of Massa Lubrense, there is the Cattedrale (Cathedral) of Massa Lubrense, that is the Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie, a neoclassical style church.
From the church, walk 1,5 km until you reach Marina della Lobra, a small fishermen hamlet right below the Santuario della Lobra (Lobra Shrine).
Right in front of the shore you will see the Vervece small island.
One of the most beautiful districts of Massa Lubrense is Sant’Agata sui due golfi, nestled between the Gulf of Salerno and the Napoli’s one. From here you can reach the baia di Ieranto (Ieranto Bay), or even the fiordo di Crapolla (Crapolla Fjord) .
Massa Lubrense is an excellent strategic point if you want to stay at cheaper prices than those in Sorrento, while still remaining on the Sorrento peninsula.
