In Capri there is a path that starts from the natural arch and gets to the panoramic viewpoint of Tragara that overlooks Marina Piccola.
This path is known as the sentiero del Pizzolungo.
From via Matermania walk toward the natural arch. Here, you’ll find some steep steps that lead to the Grotta di Matermania (Matermania Grotto). Keep walking until you get to the villa of Curzio Malaparte, overhanging the cliff, and continue to the panoramic viewpoint of Tragara.
From here, you can come back to the piazza of Capri walking along via Tragara.
The Pizzolungo path is surrounded by the nature of Capri and offers amazing views, such as cliffs, sea and sky. It is few kilometers long and takes about 3 hours. Take some water and a cap with you, and wear comfortable shoes.
Always walk the path of Pizzolungo from Matermania to Tragara. Otherwise, you will have to walk up the steep stairs instead of going down.
