Valle della caccia Oasis in Senerchia

The Irpinia region offers wonderful landscapes, such as the Valle della Caccia oasis in Senerchia (Avellino), a place of fresh air and white waters, thanks to the local calcareous rocks.

To reach the oasis of Senerchia you just have to drive along the A2 (Sa-RC) highway, take the exit signposted Contursi Terme-Postiglione, proceed along the SS691 state road and reach Senerchia where you can follow the directions to the oasis.

At the entrance of the Valle della Caccia oasis in Senerchia there is the sentiero natura (nature path), an easy less than 1 km long path that crosses the brook and leads to the beautiful cascata Acquafredda (Coldwater Waterfall).

There also is a path for expert trekkers. It is a 2 km declivity that from the entrance of the oasis leads to the Grotta Profunnata, a grotto that only full equipped people can enter.

There is no coffee bar within the oasis area, so you better bring some food and a bottle of water with you. You can refill your bottle at the springs.
